Afrontamiento al estrés en consumidores de drogas internados en comunidades terapéuticas de Lima Metropolitana

Abstract

The present investigation had as aim study the styles and strategies of confrontation to the stress present in consumers of drugs who were receiving residential treatment in therapeutic communities of Metropolitan Lima. This investigation is of descriptive type, not experimental design and quantitative method. The sample was shaped by 176 subjects; his ages were ranging between the 18 to 65 years. The used instruments were the Questionnaire COPE and a card sociodemographic created for the study. In the results we think that the most secondhand style of confrontation was centred on the emotion and the style centred on the problem the least secondhand. The strategies of major use were to come to the religion, denial and misunderstanding behaviorally. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo estudiar los estilos y estrategias de afrontamiento al estrés presentes en consumidores de drogas que se encontraban recibiendo tratamiento residencial en comunidades terapéuticas de Lima Metropolitana. Esta investigación es de tipo descriptivo, diseño no experimental y método cuantitativo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 176 sujetos; sus edades oscilaban entre los 18 a 65 años. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el Cuestionario COPE y una ficha sociodemográfica creada para el estudio. En los resultados encontramos que el estilo de afrontamiento más usado fue el centrado en la emoción y el estilo centrado en el problema el menos usado.
